the lodges of instruction named . At the presentation , a supper was g iven to Bro . W . C . Smith by the members of these lodges , at the same time wishing him good health in the future . In conclusion , the Auditors have much pleasure in stating that the expenses of the lodge of instruction have been less during the year 1888 than in former years , thus enabling the brethren who have attended over 20 times during the year to participate in two ballots , instead of one , as during the year 1887 .
They are also pleased to say the attendance of brethren during the year 1888 has been the largest since the lodge of instruction has been formed , and they hope still for a further success , and ask the members to assist all they possibly can , and so make the number of attendances during the year 188 9 larger than the year 1888 . Reynolds , Treas . and' Secretary . He had audited several books lately in connection with Freemasonry , and
it was a delight to know that during the year 1888 the working of this lodge of instruction had been carried out with less expense than in former years . He hoped that the year 1 S 8 9 would be as successful as the year 1888 . Bro .
