" A vote of condolence was passed to Bro . the Rev . S . Butler , P . P . G . C , on the loss sustained by him b y the death of his wife . The I . P . M . and others gave notice of

motion— " That the lodge be removed to more suitable premises . " Apologies for non-attendance were received from Bros . W . H . Saunders , P . M . ; D . P . Cama , P . G . Treas . ; H . Room , PG . Sec . ; and others . The lodge was then closed . A banquet followed , and the usual toasts received full justice .

The lodge was then closed , and the brethren adjourned to the banquet , which was well served by Bro . J . B . Mella , the courteous host , and assistants .

KEYNSHAM . —St . Keyna Lodge ( No . 1833 ) . —The installation meeting of this lodge was held in the Public Hall , on Tuesday , the 19 th ult ., when Bro . Walter Hobkirk , S . W ., the W . M . elect , was duly installed in the chair of K . S ., the whole of the ceremony being impressively performed by Bro . R . C . Else , the D . P . G . M ., P . G . D . of England , in the presence of a large number of

members and visitors . Bro . Else is truly a most industrious and hard-working Dep . P . G . M ., for only the previous evening he conducted the installation at the Lodge of Agriculture , No . 1199 , holding at Congresbury , nearly 20 miles from Keynsham . The newly-installed Master appointed and invested the following officers for the ensuing year : Bros . Samuel J . Lewis , I . P . M . ; J . Naish , S . W . ;

and presided over by the W . M . The usual loyal and Masonic toasts were subsequently proposed and duly honoured , and a very enjoyable evening was spent . ROSE LODGE ( No . 1 O 22 ) . —The usual weekly meeting was held on Thursday , the 21 st ult ., at the Stirling Castle , Churchstreet , Camberwell . There were about 17 brethren present to support Bro . Penney , VV . M ., who rehearsed the ceremony of raising . This was afterwards done by Bro . Bates , P .
