KEYNSHAM . —St . Keyna Lodge ( No . 1833 ) . —The installation meeting of this lodge was held in the Public Hall , on Tuesday , the 19 th ult ., when Bro . Walter Hobkirk , S . W ., the W . M . elect , was duly installed in the chair of K . S ., the whole of the ceremony being impressively performed by Bro . R . C . Else , the D . P . G . M ., P . G . D . of England , in the presence of a large number of
members and visitors . Bro . Else is truly a most industrious and hard-working Dep . P . G . M ., for only the previous evening he conducted the installation at the Lodge of Agriculture , No . 1199 , holding at Congresbury , nearly 20 miles from Keynsham . meeting were read and confirmed . The lodge was opened in the Second and Third Degrees . The 1 st Section of the Lecture was worked by Bro . Andrews , assisted by the brethren . The lodge was resumed to the Second Degree , and Bro . Jones being a candidate for raising , answered ihe usual questions , and was entrusted . The ludge was resumed to the third Degree , and the ceremony of rais * ing rehearsed , with Bro . Jones as candidate . The 2 nd and 3 rd Sections of ihe Lecture were worked by Bro . Andrews , assisted by
the brethren . The lodge was resumed to the First Degree , and the W . M . ios = for the first lime , and the dues were collected . Bro , Weil , 34 , was elected a joining memDer . Bro . Well returned thanks , and hoped to attend often . The VV . M . rose for the second time , and Bro . King was elected VV . M . for the next meeting . Bro . King returned thanks , and appointed the officers in rotation . The
VV . M . rose for the third time , and Bro . Esling announced . hat he was going up as Steward tor the Old People , to represent the Emblematic Lodge , of which ne is Master , and asked for support , the Secretary reminded the brethren of the supper , which will lake place on the nth instant , tickets tor which are ready , price three shillings . All Masonic business being ended , the lodge was closed .
On Friday , the 13 th inst ., the Lord Mayor , Sheriffs , Under-Sheriffs , and High Officers of the Corporation , and a large number of urand Officers , Present and fast , will dine with the Alliance Lodge at Guildhall Tavern . The W . M ., Bro . Henry Uarkc , C . C . and L . C . y ., will preside . A brilliant gathering is expected at this now annual banquet .
