Cooper thanked the brethren for their letter of condolence , received by him on behalf of the family of the late Bro . Gustavus Pery , who lost his life by the foundering of the steamship Cuseo a short time ago . Bro . Reakes ,

through illness , vvas unable to be present to be raised . After " Hearty good wishes" the lodge was closed , and the brethren adjourned to banquet . The usual loyal and Masonic toasts vvere given , followed by that of "The "VV . M ., " in which Bro . Dehane alluded to the great services rendered by Bro . Clapham , which was acknowledged very appropriately .
