The fund in connection with the service has already touched £ 250 . Admission will be restricted to Alasons , the Cathedral Clergy and Staff , the Alayor of Rochester with his mace bearers , and a limited number of ladies . A donation of at least 7 s . 6 d . to the Cathedral Restoration Fund—sent direct to the Dean of Rochester—will entitle to one lady ' s admission ticket .

TUESDAY , THR 14 th inst ., is the date IIX-MI ( or the matinee at the Awcnue Theatre of the play left by the late Sergius Stepniak . Air . EJvard G . Knoblauch has kindly lent the theatre , and the artists engaged have volunteered their services . They include Mr . Lawrence Irving , Mrs .
