PROVINCIAL GRAND MARK LODGE OF NORTH WALES .

The annual meeting of the above Provincial Grand Mark Lodge was recently held at the Masonic Hall , Bangor . Bro . Col . Hunter , P . G . M ., presided , and there was a good attendance , all the lodges in the province being represented . The PROV . G . M ., in addressing the brethren , alluded in the most feeling terms to the loss Maik Masonry had sustained by tbe deaths of Bro . Col .

Tudor , P . G . M . of Staffordshire , and Bro . Cornelius Davies , formerly Deputy Chief Constable of Carnarvonshire , and a Past Grand Officer of England in the Mark Degre . The Prov . G . M . also informed the Prov . Grand Lodge that , owing to ill-health , Bro . Henderson , Prov . G . Sec , had been compelled to resign his office , and while expressing sorrow at his resignation , he felt sure all the brethren would agree with him in recognising the great and good work that Bro . Henderson had done for the province during many years , and heartily wish him a speedy recovery .

PROVINCIAL PRIORY OF KENT AND SURREY

The annual meeting of the above priory was held ( by dispensation ) at Mark Masons' Hall , Great Queen-street , W . C , on Wednesday , the Sth ult ., under the presidency of the Prov . Prior , the Right Hon . the Earl of Onslow , G . C . M . G ., K . C . T ., kc . The Prov . Prior entered under the arch of steel , and opened Provincia Priory in full form .

The minutes having been confirmed , and the Treasurer s accounts approved and adopted , The PROV . PRIOR referred to the absence of the Prov . Sub-Prior , Sir Knight Horatio Ward , who was in poor health and wishful to retire from

office . Referring to the long continued and invaluable services of that Knight , the Prov . Prior , amidst many expressions of approval , intimated his unwillingness to place anyone else in the position , and expressed sincere wishes for Sir Knight Ward ' s speedy recovery , and appointed and invested ( where present ) his officers for the ensuing year as follows :

The alms were collected , and a sum of £ 2 2 s . voted to the Surrey Association in aid of Soldiers' and Sailors' Families . The Provincial Priory was then closed , and many of the knights dined together at the Holborn Restaurant under the presidency of the Eminent Preceptor of the Lullingstone Preceptory , Sir Knight W . Briant , in the unavoidable absence of the Prov . Prior , who was unable to be present in consequence of domestic bereavement . The toasts usual to loyal and Christian Masonry were duly honoured , and the knights separated in entire fraternity and perfect harmony .
