Five aspirants having been elected were duly admitted , amd took their seats as members . The Chief
Adept gave the inaugural address , in which he gave a brief sketch of the Ancient and Modern Orders , and explainer ! the objects and purposes of the latter . The address was ordered to be printed . A Committee was appointed to draw up bye-laws , arrange for future meetings , & c ., and to report to the next meeting .
The members afterwards mit at tea at the Queen ' s Hole ] , and much interesting conversation took place regarding the Order and its prospects . The new college has commenced its operations under most favourable auspices , and has already attracted within its circle some of the best known and most intelligent Masons in the county .
