BRO . T . C . HOROBIN , P . M ., P . P . S . G . D . The Isle of Axholme Lodge , No . 1482 , Lincoln , has lost a very worthy member by the very sudden cleath ot Bro . T . C . Horobin , P . M ., P . P . S . G . D . He was , after passing through all the minor offices , elected by his brethren to the chair of K . S ., in i 8 fc 6 ; he was very shortly afterwards appointed by the Prov . Grand Master of Lincolnshire to the office of P . S . G . D . He was overtaken by the hand of death on Friday evening last , in one of his fields where he had gone for a little sport .

He was very highly esteemed by all the brethren who knew him , and beloved by those of No . 1482 . He was interred in Crowle Cemetery on Monday last , and was followed to his last resting place by his sorrowing widow and children ; by the members of his lodge , in white gloves and carrying sprigs of acacia ; by his brother magistrates ( he being a J . P . for Lincolnshire ); members of the fire brigade , of which he was captain , and by hundreds of the inhabitants of the Town of Croivle . The service was conducted according to the ceremonies of the Congregationalists , by the

Rev . J . A . Hamilton , of which he was an earnest and zealous member . In fact , the whole neighbourhood appeared in mourning for the loss of a sincere friend , one who was ever ready to help the needy , and assist very practically in any good work , without thought of sect or party . He was born in 18 3 6 , W . M . in 1 S 8 G , died in 1 S 96 . Truly may we say R . l . P . The following brethren attended the funeral : Bros .
