ROYAL JUBILEE LODGE ( No . 7 2 . )—The installation meeting of this ancient ledge was held on Monday , the 2 nd inst ., at Andeiton ' s Hotel , Fleet-street , and was attended by a large number of members , both of the lodge and visitors . the previous lodge meeting having been read and confirmed , Bro . M . E . Stokes was installed into the chair of K . S . according to ancient rite and custom . Williams , Inital ling Master , then gave the usual addresses , which utie listened to with great attention from the impressive manner in which they were delivered . A ballot was then taken fur Mr . Fraser , a candidate , who , being in

attendance , was duly initiated into the mysteries and privileges of ancient Freemasonry , after which , a quantity of correspondence and other business having been got through , Bro . A . Darch , Secretary , rose and presented the I . P . M . with a poitrait of himself , taken in Masonic clothing , which the members of the . lodge had unanimously decided to present him with as a mark of

respect for his occupation of the chair during his year of office . Bro . Williams , P . M ., responded briefly in well chosen and sincere terms , and accepted the portrait , which he assured the members would be highly prized by his family . All Masonic business being ended , the lodge was closed , and the brethren adjourned to the banquet , which was

served in excellent style by Bro . Clemow . Grace having been pronounced at the conclusion , the W . M . rose to propose the usual loyal and Masonic toasts , "The Oueen and the Craft ; " "H . K . H . the Prince of Wales , the M . W . G . M . ; " "The Pro G . M ., Deputy G . M ., and the other Principal Grand Officers , Present and Past , " which were drunk with enthusiasm and with musical

honours . Bro . C . R . Williams , I . P . M ., then proposed "The Health of the W . iVL , " who responded , and proposed " The Health of the Installing Master . " Bro . C . R . Williams responded , and thanked the brethren for the courtesy which had been invariably extended towards him during his year of office .

The toast of " Ihe Initiate , " to which Bro . Fraser responded , came next , and was followed by the toasts of " The Visitors" and "Treasurer and Secretary . " The two last named in responding alluded to the healthy state of the lodge ' s finances . The toast ot "The Officers" and the Tyler ' s toast brought a pleasant evening to a close .

OLD CONCORD LODGE . —( No . 172 ) . —The installation meeting of this ancient and prosperous lodge was held at Freemasons' Hall on Tuesday , the 3 rd inst ., and attracted a large number of members and visitors . the previous lodge meeting having been read and confirmed , Bro . M . E . Stokes was installed into the chair of K . S . according to ancient rite and custom . Williams , Inital ling Master , then gave the usual addresses , which utie listened to with great attention from the impressive manner in which they were delivered . A ballot was then taken fur Mr . Fraser , a candidate , who , being in

attendance , was duly initiated into the mysteries and privileges of ancient Freemasonry , after which , a quantity of correspondence and other business having been got through , Bro . A . Darch , Secretary , rose and presented the I . P . M . with a poitrait of himself , taken in Masonic clothing , which the members of the . lodge had unanimously decided to present him with as a mark of

respect for his occupation of the chair during his year of office . Bro . Williams , P . M ., responded briefly in well chosen and sincere terms , and accepted the portrait , which he assured the members would be highly prized by his family . All Masonic business being ended , the lodge was closed , and the brethren adjourned to the banquet , which was

served in excellent style by Bro . Clemow . Grace having been pronounced at the conclusion , the W . M . rose to propose the usual loyal and Masonic toasts , "The Oueen and the Craft ; " "H . K . H . the Prince of Wales , the M . W . G . M . ; " "The Pro G . M ., Deputy G . M ., and the other Principal Grand Officers , Present and Past , " which were drunk with enthusiasm and with musical

honours . Bro . C . R . Williams , I . P . M ., then proposed "The Health of the W . iVL , " who responded , and proposed " The Health of the Installing Master . " Bro . C . R . Williams responded , and thanked the brethren for the courtesy which had been invariably extended towards him during his year of office .

The toast of " Ihe Initiate , " to which Bro . Fraser responded , came next , and was followed by the toasts of " The Visitors" and "Treasurer and Secretary . " The two last named in responding alluded to the healthy state of the lodge ' s finances . The toast ot "The Officers" and the Tyler ' s toast brought a pleasant evening to a close .

OLD CONCORD LODGE . —( No . 172 ) . —The installation meeting of this ancient and prosperous lodge was held at Freemasons' Hall on Tuesday , the 3 rd inst ., and attracted a large number of members and visitors .
