Ihe PROV . GRAND MASTER addressed the brethren , congratulating the province upon the large increase in its numbers , and calling attention to the dispensations asked for to install as Masters of lodges brethren who had not passed the chair in the Craft . Such dispensations should only be applied for and granted under exceptional circumstances . He ( the Prov . The Provincial Grand Lodge vvas then closed , and the brethren adjourned to a banquet , at which thc Provincial Grand Master presided , being supported by the Right Hon . the Earl of Euston , Pro G . M . * , Bros . C F . Matier , P . G . W ., G . Sec ; R . Berridge , P . G . D . of C , P . G . W . ; ami several other distinguished brethren . It is hoped that this meeting may result in a Mark lodge being formed at Chichester .
