WE ARE GLAD to see that a powerful company , under the title of the Rosbach Springs , Limited , with a capital of £ i 20 , ooo , _ has been formed to acquire the whole freehold rights , and to thoroughly develope the business of this fine table water throughout the world . To a great many of our readers , who have been in the habit of visiting Homburg during the height of the season , Rosbach Water must be very familiar . To a great many others its magnificent quality as a high-class table water is well known , but to many the

name of Rosbach is caviare ; but anyone who tries it will find it to be what we have long since proved it , a most admirable water to blend with high-class old spirits , or with good wine . It is , of course , a purely natural water , charged with its own natural gas , but we find it far less salt on the palate than any other natural water , and as such it blends , in our opinion , better than waters which contain a larger proportion of the earthy salts . The offices of the new company are situated at No . 38 , Leadenhall-street , City , and we wish this new enterprise every possible success .

Contributions can be sent to Dr . Greville Walpole ( Chairman ) , Colonel Jasper Willett ( Hon . Sec ) , or to the Secretaries . The head office of the Society is 1 , Finsbury Circus , E . C .

THRIFT DEVELOPMENT . —The National Thrift Society , the Secretaries of which are Bros . A Thrift Industrial Home for Boys is being established in connection with the Fruit Farm Colony at Methwold , Norfolk ; Thrift Campaigns are being organised for Bristol , Southampton , Glasgow , & c , as well as the populous districts in and around London , and a Thrift Travelling for the distribution of literature and the of Thrift addresses in

A sum of £ 500 is required for these various purposes , and doubtless our readers will do their share in providing this amount , thus helping forward a very useful , unsectarian , and unpolitical movement . Contributions can be sent to Dr . Greville Walpole ( Chairman ) , Colonel Jasper Willett ( Hon . Sec ) , or to the Secretaries . The head office of the Society is 1 , Finsbury Circus , E . C .
