Masonic Notes.

Masonic Notes .

The Quarterly General Court of the Girls' School on Saturday last , disposed of the business brought before it satisfactorily . The candidature of a child was rejected on the ground that the family of which she was a member possessed an income of ^ 190 per year ,

derived from an invested capital of £ 6000 which had been left them by the father . The name of another candidate was also removed from the list , and , therefore , in April next , the number of candidates will be

43 , while the number of vacancies will be 21 . There is an excellent opportunity , therefore , for the friends of cases which command a fair amount of influence to carry them through successfully at the next election .
