TO BE SOLD . —A FREEHOLD HOUSE AND GAKDEN ; Upper Gordon-road , Enfield . Price £ 450 . —Apply Office of Paper . k A / M . RADAM'S MICROBE VV KILLER . THE ONE CAUSE OF DISEASE . Nature creates and destroys . The destructive process is fermentation . The cause of fermentation is fungi , or microbes . Fermentation does not take place without air , heat , and moisture , for microbes are living organisms . Thus one living creature feeds on another ; the one fed upon becomes diseased ( or ferments ) , and death results . Illness is not possible without microbes . If there were no fermentation there would be no illness ; life would continue indefinitely , suffering brought about by ill-health would cease , and the processes of nature would stagnate . To this law man is no exception , and in it lies the secret of the cause of all disease . Microbes make you ill , but MICROBE KILLER will make you well . It is satisfactory to know that the business of Grand Lodge will in no way be interrupted by the lamented death of the Grand Secretary . Pending the appointment of his successor , the office will be in charge of the Grand Registrar , Bro . Philbrick , and the President of the Board of General Purposes , Bro . Thomas Fenn , while Bro . Robert Grey , President of the General Committee of Grand Chapter , will take charge of Royal Arch affairs * * *
It will be seen from thecommunications andremarks we publish elsewhere that the utmost respect is being paid to the memory of our deceased Grand Secretary . In the Order of the Temple , of which he was Great Sub-Prior of England and Wales , and Prov . Prior of , Sussex , the members of all preceptories , Prov . Priories and Great Priory are requested to wear mourning for six months . The Shadwell Clerke Lodge , No . 1910 , of which he was W . M ., will wear mourning for three months , and no doubt the other lodges , as well as the chapters , & c , of which he was a member , will adopt the same course . * * *
The customary Christmas entertainment was given to the inmates of the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution at Croydon on Wednesday , when everything passed off most satisfactorily . But the attendance of visitors was smaller than usual , owing in part to the inclemency of the weather , and in part to the prevalence of influenza and those illnesses which afflict people at this season of the year . But for those untoward circumstances there would in all probability have been a very numerous muster , it being the Jubilee year of the foundation of thc Institution .
