The lodge was opened in due form , and the minutes having been read , were signed . Bro . Geo . Phillips Parker , of Egerton of Tatton Lodge , already elected , being present , was introduced and elevated to the Degree of a Royal Ark Mariner by the W . C . N , in due form . The Scribe read out the names of the brethren qualified to hold the office of W . C . N , and also that of Treasurer . A ballot having been taken , Bro . G . E . Lake , P . M ., was elected W . C . BRO . JOHN ASPINALL , P . M . 534 . We regret to have to record the painfully sudden death of Bro . John Aspinall , P . M ., which took place on the 21 st ult . On the evening of that day , our deceased brother was passing through Hackney Churchyard on liis way homeward , when he was observed 10 stagger and fall . Medical assistance was summoned , but life was extinct . Deceased loaves a widow and one son to mourn the loss of an affectionate husband and father .

A SPECIAL MATINKI : was held at the Canterbury Music Hall on Monday , in aid of the Music Hall Benevolent Fund , upwards of 200 well-known artistes volunteering their services . The Milliner proved a very great success .

Obituary .

BRO . JOHN ASPINALL , P . M . 534 . We regret to have to record the painfully sudden death of Bro . John Aspinall , P . M ., which took place on the 21 st ult . On the evening of that day , our deceased brother was passing through Hackney Churchyard on liis way homeward , when he was observed 10 stagger and fall . Medical assistance was summoned , but life was extinct . Deceased loaves a widow and one son to mourn the loss of an affectionate husband and father .

A SPECIAL MATINKI : was held at the Canterbury Music Hall on Monday , in aid of the Music Hall Benevolent Fund , upwards of 200 well-known artistes volunteering their services . The Milliner proved a very great success .
