• JERSEY . Csesarean Lodge ( No . 74 ) . —it must have been very gratifying to the Secretary of this Iodge ( Bro . J . VV . I landing ) , after years of unceasing devotion to its interests , interests , indeed , which some years ago threatened to vanish altogether , to be present , and to take an active part in the duties of such a meeting as gathered together on Wednesday , the 21 st ult ., within the walls of the

imposing Alasonic Temple of the Island , to witness the installation of Iiro . F . G . Hamilton into the chair . Under the favouring support of the Grand Master Overseer of England and Wales , Bro . Col . Alalet de Carteret , with a roll of members close on 70 , and numerous and capable brethren of good social standing , either holding office or anxiously looking forward to the same , the supply of excellent Worshipful Alasters is not likely to fail , and , without

presu motion , we may forecast a long and steady period o prosperity for the Cesarean Lodge . We offer our very hearty congratulations to Bro . J . VV . Handing , and may each succeeding W . AI . for many years to come be fortunate enough to secure the services of so excellent a Secretary . The meeting was called for G . 45 p . m ., and at 7 precisely , the W . AI ., Bro .
