place among our most important works of reference . Strangers visiting our lodges are by far too fortunate 1 as many as two or three members enter into conversatw with them , and they are apt to go away disappointed , teeing that the members are cold and inhospitable ; that has not met with any expression ot that warm brother y love he had aright to expect . Oursuggestion is , that n matter who the stranger may be , for if he is fit to pass y of
Tyler and stand before your altar , he is the peer any brother in the room when the Master has extended to m the usual and formal welcome , if the lodge is at labour t it be called off for a few moments , and the Master , plac '" = himself beside the visiting brother , introduce him to eve : y one in the room , and do this so heartily and in so kindiy manner as to convince him that he has indeed found a h ° ^ among brethren , although he may be a stranger ana strange land . In other words , make your visitors \ velco by social and fraternal intercourse . —American Ty ler .
