Col . Addison Po ' . ter , C . H ., Past G . M . O . of England , VV . CN ., presiding , and supported by several distinguished brethren , whose names are given in the Union Mark Lodge report .

Bros . Lord Wolseley and the Earl of Euslon were present at the distribution of prizes to the 2 nd Volunteer Battalion of the Royal Fusiliers , of vvhich the former is honorary colonel . Bro . Lord Wolseley delivered an interesting address on army organisation , vvhich vvas frequently applauded . Her Majesty has been particularly successful as

an exhibitor at the Smithlield Club Cattle Show , at the Royal Agricultural Hall , Islington , liaving been awarded no less than five ist prizes , one 2 nd prize , and two 3 rd prizes in the different cattle classes . The Prince of VVales obtained only one 3 rd prize . Bros . Lord Wantage and Sir K . Baker vvere also among the prize winners . The Show closes this ( Friday ) evening .
