J . Wise . The attendance of members had been good during the past year , giving an average of little over iG at each meeting . On the proposition of Bro . Bond , J . VV ., seconded by Bro , Dukas , S . VV ., the report was unanimously

approved and adopted . Ihe W . AL proposed that a vote of thanks be recorded on the minutes to Bros . Hoggins , G . Reynolds , Keene , and G . II . Reynolds for their kindness and the manner in which they had acted as Scrutineers . Seconded by the Preceptor , and carried unanimously . The several brethren returned thanks , saying that it had been a most pleasurable duty . Nothing further offering for the good of Freemasonry , the lodge was closed .

~^ - ¦ --The 14 th annual general meeting of the Irving Amateur Dramatic Club was held , by the kind permission of Bro . Henry Irving , at the Ljc u n Theatre on Tuesday afternoon . The chair was occupied by Air . Charles Fry , and on his motion , duly seconded , the report was adopted . Bro . living , who is President of the Club , was among tnosc present , and made an eloquent speech , which was very greatly appreciated by the m-inbers , and in tne course of whfen he pi unused the Club should have all the assistance it was in his power to give .

Bro . living , who is President of the Club , was among tnosc present , and made an eloquent speech , which was very greatly appreciated by the m-inbers , and in tne course of whfen he pi unused the Club should have all the assistance it was in his power to give .
