BRO . E . F . B . FULLER , P . M . 1657 . It is with regret that we announce the death of Bro . Edward Frank Brewster Fuller , who until recently was the sole partner in the firm of Fuller and Fuller , auctioneers , surveyors , and valuers , of 70 , Queen-street . The sad event took place at Clifton-gardens , Folkestone , on the 23 rd ult . Bro . Fuller , who was 55 years of age , had suffered from illness for some months , but up to within four

days of his death he took an active share in the business of his ollice . He was the fifth son of Dr . Hugh Fitter Fuller , of King William-street , and was educated at the City of London School . At the age of 20 he entered the office of his uncle , Mr . George Fuller , who carried on a large business as a valuer in Bucklersbury . Eventually he joined his uncle , and at the tatter ' s death continued the business under the style of Fuller and Fuller . The greater part of his time and attention he devoted to compensation work ; indeed , he became one of the best

known compensation valuer ; in the City . He was also a prominent figure at the Mart , where he frequently occupied the rostrum . He was a Past Master of the Gold and Silver Wyre-Drawers' Company . To mourn his loss he leaves a widow and a family of three . The funeral , by the wish of the deceased , was of a private character , and took place at Folkestone Cemetery . Many floral emblems of respect and esteem were sent by friends in town , and Mrs . Fuller received from clients and professional friends a large number of letters expressing condolence with her on her bereavement .

Union Lodge , No . 767 ( E . C ) . Saturday , 23 rd June ( St . John's Eve ) , was a red-letter day in the annals of Freemasonry in Sind , being the occasion of the installation of Bro . G . Owen W . Dunn , Past Deputy District Grand Master Bombay , as the W . M . of the above lodge for the ensuing year , when there was an unusually large and representative gathering of the members of the Fraternity at the Freemasons' Hall , Karachi , Sind , belonging to the several lodges in the province , to witness the ceremony of installation , which was very ably and impressively carried out by Bro . George Hamilton , the retiring Master , and

we think Union Lodge , which is the premier lodge in Sind under the English Constitution , is to be congratulated in having prevailed upon so high and popular an officer in the Craft , to accept the office of Worshipful Master amidst his other responsible official duties , and the installation of Bro . Dunn is bound to give a fillip to Freemasonry in Sind , and particularly in Karachi , where unfortunately , from what we hear , it has been languishing for some time back , from various causes . It is , therefoie , to be fervently hoped that there will be a revival of Freemasonry of the true sort in Sind , and already , we are glad to learn , that the new leaven is having its effect .

After the business of the lodge was over the brethren , numbering about So , adjourned to an excellent banquet , during which the greatest harmony and good fellow , ship prevailed , and the usual loyal and Masonic toasts were proposed and most enthusiastically responded to , one among them being that of ** Bro . Field Marshal Lord Roberts and the officers and men comprising the British Army in South Africa , " which was prefaced by a few appropriate and well-chosen remarks by the newly-installed Worshipful Master , and it is needless to say that this toast was most heartily received by the company .

The meeting broke up exactly at the hour of twelve , so that Sunday was not trenched upon in any way , and thus a most pleasant and successful function was brought to an end . The following are the names ot the ofliceis appointed for the current year : — Bros . G . Owen W . Dunn , P D . D . G . M . Bombay , W . M . ; G . Hamilton . P . M ., D . G . S . B . Bombay , l . P .
