Noakes , Org . The ceremony was worked in a manner worthy of the very best traditions of the lodge , and Bro . Frank Adams cannot be too highly complimented for the skill and ability shown on this memorable occasion . A proposition from the worthy Secretary , Bro . G . Parrett , was next proceeded with , " That the sum of 25 guineas be given to the Princess of Wales ' s Widows' and Orphans '

Fund , " meeting with unanimous support . The lodge business being ended , the brethren adjourned to the banqueting hall to do ample justice to a repast served in Bro . G . A . Roberts' well-known style and taste . During this function the W . M . invested the l . P . M . ( Bro . H . Warren ) with the customary collar and jewel in recognition of past invaluable services . It is to be regretted that the recipient was too indisposed to attend the lodge meeting , kence the presentation at the banquet . A very excellent programme of vocal music was then capitally rendered by Bros . Geo . Parrett , P . M ., and F . W . Stephens ; the Misses Mabel Rowe and Edith Payne , on' Mr . Harrv Hudson ( the humorousV .

The customary toasts were duly honoured , and a most pleasant function closed at a late hour . The whole of the arrangements were carried out . with duly-appreciated excellence by Bro . Thos . F . Noakes , Organist of the lodge .

St . Audrey Lodge , No . 2727 . The first anniversary of this lodge was held at Ely , on the Sth inst ., when Bro . Henry Kempton was installed in the chair of K . S . There was previously an initiation . The installation ceremony was performed by Bro . J . M . Harvey , P . P . S . G . W . Suffolk , the first W . M . 1607 , who , for his services in aiding the Committee of the lodge to secure this beautiful instrument , was unanimously elected an honorary member of the lodge . This lodge is to be heartily congratulated on Tving up to its name " Prosperity , " by adding this further attraction to its weekly meetings , to which the mother lodge , Prosperity , No . 63 , and the Lion and Lamb Lodge , No . 192 , each made a handsome donation of five guineas from their respective funds . It was incidentally mentioned during the evening that this is one of the oldest of the City lodges of instruction . having been consecrated as far back as 1826 . Bro . Stokes , S . W . 192 , was unanimously elected to occupy the chair of W . M . on Wednesday evening next at seven . The brethren were reminded that the annual supper of this lodge is to take p lace en the 29 th instant , when it is hoped they wilt form up strongly . M . 2060 ) , and Nellie Crimson subsequently entertained the company with their charming music , both vocal and instrumental . It may be mentioned here that the Lodge of Instruction La France meets every Thursday night , at 8 . 30 p . m ., at the Regent Masoni : Temple , Cafe Royal , Regentstreet , W . The work h ? s been arranged as following , viz ., first Thursday of the week

There was a deeply interesting and unique ceremony at the regular meetof the Lodge of Hengist , No . 195 , on Thursday , the and inst . The ordinary work of the lodge was suspended for a short time , and the lads , who , as Lewises , carried the volume of the Sacred Law at the recent Masonic ceremonies at Boscombe Hospital and St . Andrew ' s Church , were presented with handsomely-bound Bibles bearing suitable inscriptions .

ceremony was greatly enhanced by musical accompaniments on an American organ , which were well rendered by Bro . Barker , P . M . 1607 , who , for his services in aiding the Committee of the lodge to secure this beautiful instrument , was unanimously elected an honorary member of the lodge . This lodge is to be heartily congratulated on Tving up to its name " Prosperity , " by adding this further attraction to its weekly meetings , to which the mother lodge , Prosperity , No . 63 , and the Lion and Lamb Lodge , No . 192 , each made a handsome donation of five guineas from their respective funds . It was incidentally mentioned during the evening that this is one of the oldest of the City lodges of instruction . having been consecrated as far back as 1826 . Bro . Stokes , S . W . 192 , was unanimously elected to occupy the chair of W . M . on Wednesday evening next at seven . INTERESTING PRESENTATION AT BOURNEMOUTH .

There was a deeply interesting and unique ceremony at the regular meetof the Lodge of Hengist , No . 195 , on Thursday , the and inst . The ordinary work of the lodge was suspended for a short time , and the lads , who , as Lewises , carried the volume of the Sacred Law at the recent Masonic ceremonies at Boscombe Hospital and St . Andrew ' s Church , were presented with handsomely-bound Bibles bearing suitable inscriptions .
