A QUESTION OF PRECEDENCE . To the Editor of the " Freemason . " Dear Sir and Brother , A question of some importance cropped up at our lodg-e recently , and it was agreed to ask the favour of your decision as to what would be right under the following circumstances : —

HONOUR TO WHOM HONOUR IS DUE . To the Editor of the " Freemason . " Dear Sir and Brother , In the interesting account which appeared in the last issue of the Freemason of the inauguration of the Empire Lodge an omission has occurred , no doubt inadvertently , which cannot be remedied too soon .

Among the many distinguished person rues who have manifested an interest , or taken part in the founding of this important Masonic centre , there is no one more entitled to recognition than Viscount Bury . Lord Bury is an old Mason himself , and this renewed active co-operation in the foundation of a Masonic lodge

which is destined to be so great a success , and to play such an important part in consolidating those Masonic bonds which already binds together the mother country and her colonies , cannot but be a matter of general congratulation to the Craft . VINDEX . December oth .

He cannot hold the lodge on Chnstmas eve , because the room is on that evening at the service of a Royal Aich chapter , which

If he summons his lodge at some early hour on the 24 th he will have no attendance , and there is " work " to be got through . He has no business to let the meeting drop , because he may nut

suspend the bye-laws , and eveiy regular meeting nut provided for in B . C ., 13 " , must be summoned and held , and by the same rule the Prov . G . M . cannot help him . What should W . M . do ? Lodge 5 6 9 and two Royal Arch chapters are set down for Christmas Day , andean prohably meet on the 24 th j but suppose any lodge meeting to be due on the last Saturday in December ( and there doubtless are several lodges ) , what should the VV .
