On the proposition of the Secretary , a vote of condolence and sympathy was passed

with the widow and family of the late Bro . A . J . Miller , who , Bro . Bowyer said , was one of the founders of the Clausentum Lodge and a P . M ., and who , on his resignation when the lodge became strong , was made an honorary member . It was added that certain properties of the lodge

were presented by Bro . Miller and bore his name . The proposition was carried in silence . The usual Masonic banquet , well supplied by Bro . Henley , followed the installation , at which several toasts were honoured and good wishes expressed to the W . M ., who presided , for a successful year of office .

J . Darby , 526 . The lodge having been opened , Messrs . W . Howell and A . De La Haye were initiated by the W . M ., and Bro . S . Dean was raised to the Sublime Degree of a M . M . by Bro . J .
