The gathering at the Mark Benevolent Fund Festival was looked forward to by the ladies with great pleasure / and he thought it well that ladies should be invited to take part in the enjoyment . ANALYSIS OF THE RETURNS . : : The foregoing list of Returns , if it has been exceeded at previous Festivals , and notably at that of last year , is nevertheless a satisfactory one . There was a good Board of 160 Stewards , of whom some 50 , including four" ladies , acted for London , and compiled a sum of . £ 752 1 is ., while the remainder ' represented 29 of the 35 Provinces , two Districts , and three Degrees of Orders , and had the pleasure ot compiling . £ 1270 is ., the grand total b y the 160 Stewards being , £ 2022 12 s .

The gathering at the Mark Benevolent Fund Festival was looked forward to by the ladies with great pleasure / and he thought it well that ladies should be invited to take part in the enjoyment .
