I say " intended as an answer , " because the letter does not appear to me to be a repl y lo either of us , but is an evident attempt to draw us into a consideration of matters quite irrelevant to the present inquiry . towards the Cathedra ! restoration , which has been ( or some time in progress , naturally allbtded such an occasion . It is scarel y necessary to remark how appropriate comes such a contribution

towards the restoration and decoration of a line building like our ancient Cahrcdral from such an august bod y as the Freemasons , which may almost be said lo date its existence from time
