the great honour that they had accorded him in making him an honorary member of their young but prosperous lodge . "The Health of the W . M . " followed . In proposing the toast the I . P . M . said that Bro . Simmonds during his nine years' membership of the lodge had worked well and worthily . They had witnessed how well he had invested his

Bro . George Everett , in responding , said that he could lay claim to being almost the oldest M ason present , and he supposed , that that was one reason why he had been specially honoured to speak first . He had often
heard ofthe happy and well worked Sir Charles Bright Lodge , and he felt grateful that at last he had had an opportunity of ocular and auricular demonstration . The I . P . Forge ) had worked very hard indeed to render their meeting that day a success , and , in fact , was one of the most energetic and hard working Secretaries in the Province of Middlesex .
An excellent variety programme was promoted by Bro . Ruffell , Organist , but the time would not allow of its being carried out entirely . Among the artistes were the Bros . Hall , F . Rivenhall , F . Hill , and Mr . Fred . Ruffle .
