A farewell dinner to Bro . Henry Irving , previous to his
departure for America , was given in the large room of the Gralton Gallery—which had been kindly lent for the purpose —on Sunday evening last . The chair was occupied by Mr . Boyd has given three massive column candlesticks , each about 4 ! feet high , representing the Ionic , Corinthian , and Doric styles of
architecture . They are of polished oak , mounted with burnished brass . To the Keith Ijjdge , Bro . Boyd has also presented a magnificent set of solid silver working tools , each article being elaborately engraved with Scotch thistles . Solomon Lodge , No . 107 , receives a costly silk and embroidered banner , with fringes . In the centre of the banner there is worked in the arms of the burgh of
Fraserburgh , with a scroll bearing the name and number of the lodge . The banner is the colour of the lodge ' s clothing , dark blue , and is carried on an artistically embellished standard . Lodge St . James , No . 256 , has received three column candlesticks and a splendid ebony mallet , with silver handle . The other lodges—Forbes Lodge , No . 6 7 ; Fraser Lodge , No . 207 ; St . Boyd has given three massive column candlesticks , each about 4 ! feet high , representing the Ionic , Corinthian , and Doric styles of
architecture . They are of polished oak , mounted with burnished brass . To the Keith Ijjdge , Bro . Boyd has also presented a magnificent set of solid silver working tools , each article being elaborately engraved with Scotch thistles . Solomon Lodge , No . 107 , receives a costly silk and embroidered banner , with fringes . In the centre of the banner there is worked in the arms of the burgh of
Fraserburgh , with a scroll bearing the name and number of the lodge . The banner is the colour of the lodge ' s clothing , dark blue , and is carried on an artistically embellished standard . Lodge St . James , No . 256 , has received three column candlesticks and a splendid ebony mallet , with silver handle . The other lodges—Forbes Lodge , No . 6 7 ; Fraser Lodge , No . 207 ; St .
