THE SEASIDE CAMP FOR LONDON WORKING BOYS . To the Editor of the " Freemason . " Dear Sir , Will you allow me once more to appeal to your readers for assistance in maintaining . this organisation for benefiting the London working boy ? During this past hot summer we have been enabled to give a holiday to hundreds of tired and hard-working lads , with what result may be judged from the following letters just received by the Commandant :

" Would you believe it , I was almost crying when I got home on Saturday . I was so sorry that 1 left all my friends and the lovely place , and now I am very busy waiting for next year . My mother and father and my sisters find mc very healthy and brown . " " I am just writing to you to say how much I thank you , your officers and staff , for your very kind exertions towards what proved to be one of the happiest weeks I ever spent in my life . "

"Just a few lines to let you know we arrived home all right .... we would have liked to have had another week of it ; it was what we called a jolly good holiday , and the food was grand , thanks to the good old cook and you and your staff . "

' Having returned to London all safe , and feeling much stronger and a deal better for my happy holiday , I want to thank you for the share you have taken to make it a holiday never to be forgotten . . . . It is a great boon to us factory boys to be able to spend a whole week at the seaside , which otherwise we could not do , for we have to work hard , and out of 6 s . a week one cannot save but very little each week . "

That , Sir , is what some of the lads think of their holid-iy . Let mc quote also the opinion of a visitor—a University Undergraduate . He writes : " To say how very much both I myself and all our boys enjoyed the week at Camp . It was simply grand and far exceeded my expectations in every way , especially as to the very nice lot of boys there were down . "

I claim that such a work as this—the affording a week ' s holidiy for 6 s , ( including fare ) to London lads with slender earnings , but of respectable ch trader should not be allowed to flag for want of necessary funds , and I earnestly appeal to your readers to provide these . Contributions may be sent to me at Northumberland Chambers , Charing Cross , or direct to our bankers , Messrs . Cocks , Biddulph and Co ., 43 , Charing Cross . —I am , Sir , your obedient servant .
