Reports Of Masonic Meetings.

There was at this meeting a goodly attendance of members and visitors , and at the conclusion of the lecture , which occupied about two hours , the lecturer was highly complimented by the W . M . and several of the brethren . Bro . Conrad C . Dumas , P . G . A . D . C , spoke in warm terms of the services which Bro . Stevens is rendering to the Craft by his lucid exposition of the anomalies and innovations which have crept into Masonic ritual , to hsi personal

knowledge , since his initiation in 1859 . ^ ro . Dumas expressed the hope that Bro . Stevens would persevere in his exertions to point out these divergencies , no ' iviihrti nting the prejudices and somewhat unreasonable opposition on the part of many who either could not or would not understand how the purity of the ritual is being affected by unwarrantable introductions of senseless words and

procedure . A cordial vote of thanks to Bro . Stevens was ordered to be recorded on the minutes of the Iodge , for which Bro . Stevens expressed his thanks , and stated his willingness to meet the wishes of any other lodges desirous of hearing him . After the lodge had been closed the brethren partook of supper , _ and spent a very agreeable hour before final separation .

THE GREAT CITY LODGE ( No . 1426 ) . — The fourteenth installation meeting of this lodge was held at Cannon-street Hotel , on Saturday last . The attendance was not so large as is customary on these occasions ; but there was a large proportion of Installed Masters to form the Board to which the W . M . elect was in due course presented . The lodge was opened by the W . M ., Bro . Robert Fendick , and there were present then and prior to the

Potter , was presented to the VV . M ., and obligated in due form . A Board of Installed Masters was

then constituted , and Bro . Potter dul y installed into the chair of K . S ., and received the salutations of his brethren as a ruler in the Craft . Bro . James Stevens , P . M ., undertook the duties of D . C , and conducted the salutations and greetings of the brethren below the chair , and the full ceremony was completed by the delivery of the addresses by Bro . Baber , P . M . The officers appointed and invested were Bros . H . T .

The report of the Audit Committee was received , and it was agreed that consideration should be given to the same at the ensuing

meeting , with a view to suggested alterations , which would probably affect the financial prospects of the lodge for its great advantage . A motion was carried for the presentation to the retiring W . M ., Bro . R . Fendick , of a P . M . 's jewel , of the usual value ; and in the course of the evening the presentation was duly made . A candidate for initiation at the November meeting was proposed and some charitable work performed on behalf of distressed brethren and

others . The lodge was then closed , and the members and their friends adjourned to an excellent banquet , prepared for them in the Pillar Room , and personally superintended by Bro . Kilby , the manager of the Cannon-street Hotel , in his customary courteous manner . The visitors generally expressed their satisfaction with the handsome provision made for their comfort and entertainment .

Alter grace had been sung , the usual routine speeches in delivery of loyal and Masonic toasts , and responses thereto were made , all brief , but to the point ; interesting to the company present , but not offering need for general comment . The musical arrangements were under the direction of Bro . F . H . Cozens , assisted by Bros . Henry , G . T . Carter , and E . J . Bell ; and , ive need hardly say , were such as to add eclat to a peculiarly happy meeting .

ROTHESAY LODGE ( No . 1687 ) . —The first regular meeting of the season of this prosperous lodge took place on Wednesday , the 6 th inst ., at the St . James's Hall , Regent-street , W ., Bro . E . L . P . Valerian ! , W . M ., occupying the chair , supported by his Wardens , Bro . F . V . Green , W . M . elect , and Bro . Mole ; and Bros . Docker , P . M . ; F . Green , P . M . ; W . C Parsons , P . M ., Sec ; J . Butlin , Treas . ; R . Shaw , S . D . ; W . Adams , J . D . ; H . Gros , I . G . ; Potter , Tyler ; Stevenson , H . Roberts , H .

fhe lodge having been opened by theW . M ., and the minutes having been read , a ballot was successfully taken for Messrs . P . G . and F . Meutasti and Jno . Conning , who were regularly initiated into the Order , the ceremony being ably worked by the VV . M . Bro . Green , P . M ., then installed his son , Bro . F . V . Green , to the satisfaction of the brethren , who afterwards saluted him in the proper order , the addresses being given with good effect . The

W . M . appointed his officers as follows : Bros . Mole , S . W . ; Shaw , J . W . ; Butlin , Treas . ; Parsons , P . M ., Sec ; Adams , S . D . ; Gros , J . D . ; Colepper , I . G . ; Docker , P . M ., W . S . ; Stevenson , Asst . W . S . ; Green , P . M ., D . of C . ; H . J . Roberts , Asst . D . of C . ; and Berrow , Org . The brethren then considered a proposal of the W . M . that a ball should be given during the winter in

connection with the Iodge , the profits of whicii should be devoted to the Benevolent Fund , vvhich proposal was cordially adopted . The VV . M . then announced to the lodge his intention to stand as Steward to the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution , when the lodge immediately voted a sum of ten guineas to be placed on his list . After the lodge was closed the brethren adjourned to an

excellent banquet provided by the Brothers Roberts . The usual loyal and Masonic toasts followed . The Worshipful Master , in proposing " The Queen and the Craft , " reminded the brethren that this was the 50 th year of her Majesty ' s reign , and he felt it a great honour to preside over the Rothesay Lodge at sach an eventful period .

After the toasts of " The M . W . Grand Master " and " The Grand Ofiicers , Present and Past , " had been duly responded to , Bro . Valerian ! , I . P . M ., in an appropriate speech , proposed "TheW . M ., " and complimented him on his undertaking one of the first duties of a W . M . by going up as Steward to one of the most deserving Charities , namely , the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution , and

asked the brethren to well second his efforts . He wished him a pleasant and successful year of office , which he had so well begun . The W . M ., in reply , expressed his thanks , and stated he intended to do all in his power to further the interests of the lodge .

The toast of "The Chanties" was given , when Bro . Mason , P . M . 1557 , R . M . B . I ., alluded to the good work this lodge had always done in the cause of Charity . The I . P . M . then interposed , and wished to give the first intimation to the W . M . of the result of the appeal to the brethren , which had produced the most handsome list this lodge had hitherto given at one banquet , namely , 61

guineas . The VVorshipfuI Master expressed his grateful thanks at the desire of the brethren to honour himself and the lodge in so generous a way . The toast of " The I . P . M . " was enthusiastically received ; the W . M ., in proposing it , referred to the great prosperity of the lodge during his year of office , and presented him with a handsome jewel which had been voted by the

lodge . Bro . Valerian ! , I . P . M ., feelingly expressed his appreciation of the gift , and said that he should always continue to work for the good of the lodge . The toasts of "The Initiates" and "The Visitors " were both well received , Bros . Cox , P . M , Co ; Maple , P . M . 657 ; and Lane , S . W . 1267 , returning thanks .

The Worshipful Master then gave the toast of "The Past Masters , " coupled with that of "The Installing Master . " Bro . F . Green , P . M ., responded , and expressed the great pleasure it had been to him to install his son in the chair , an event which did not often occur ; and offered his thanks to

the other Past Masters for allowing him to perform that ceremony . The toist of , " The Treasurer and Secretary " followed . Bro . Butlin , in responding , said how glad he was to know the lodge was in a good and sound position . Bro . Parsons , P . M ., also suitably responded , thanking the brethren for their continued appreciation of his

ser-. The Worshipful Master , in proposing the toast of " The Officers , " stated he had every confidence in their carrying out their duties efficiently . Bro . Mole , S . W ., in reply , said he would do all in his

power to justify his selection to the position of Senior Warden . Bro . Shaw , J . W ., also responded , as did several other brethren . The Tyler's toast was given , and a very pleasant evening brought to a conclusion .

BRIXTON LODGE ( No . 1949 ) . — A regular meeting of this lodge was held at the Brixton Hall , Acrelane , on Saturday , the 2 nd inst ., Bro . R . Poore , the W . M ., presided , and there were present Bros . VV . Day , S . VV . ; C . J . Axford , W . M . 2048 , J . W . ; H . Baldwin , I . P . M . ; W . Kirkland , Treas . ; H . Lovegrove , P . M ., Sec ; A . E . Albert , J . D . R , Evans , I . G . ; A . Jones , D . C ; J . Read , P . M . 720 , Org . ; W . R . Palmer , Stwd . ;

Watkins were unanimously elected joining members . Bros . Inglis , Daunton , Newland , and Lovey were raised , the whole ceremony being twice gone through with great accuracy by the W . M ., who gave the traditional history . Two gentlemen were proposed for initiation at the next meeting . At the close of , a most successful meeting the brethren dined together , and with songs and recitations a pleasant evening was spent .

DRURY LANE LODGE ( No . 2127 ) . —The members of this young but immensely popular lodge , reassembled , after the summer recess , extending over four months , on Tuesday afternoon . It will be recollected that this lodge , which was consecrated in January last under brilliant auspices ( reported fully in the columns of the Freemason at that time ) , was especially designed by Bro .

Augustus Harris , of the Drury Lane Theatre , and many other distinguished brethren who were co-operating with him , for the purpose of affording more frequent opportunities for social amenity and Masonic intercourse to prominent members of the higher professions of the drama , music , literature , and art ; and the success which has

attended it finds no parallel in the records of the Craft . The roll of membershi p now includes many brilliant and distinguished names in the legislature , the municipality of London , and the various higher grades of professional life , and the lodge is destined , beyond doubt , abundantly to realise the objects and intentions of its founders . A special and

elaborately appointed temple has been fitted up within the precincts of the " National " Theatre , and here on Tuesday the winter session was inaugurated , under the most gratifying auspices . There was a very large attendance of officers and members , Grand Lodge being well represented , while the assembly wasgraced by a numerous company of distinguished visitors . In the absence of Brc . J . C .

Parkinson , P . G . D ., who invariably officiates as the deputy of Bro . the Right Hon . Lord Londesborough , P . G . W ., the first VV . M . of the lodge , the chair was occupied by Bro . Thomas Fenn , Pres . of the Board of General Purposes , who was supported by Bro . Augustus Harris , S . W . ; Bro . Sir John Gorst , Q . C , M . P ., J . W . ; and other officers . The minutes ot the last regular meeting in June and of

the lodge of emergency in July having been read and confirmed , Bros . Frederick Leslie , Major Berkeley Pigott , and F . Hanbury Tracy were passed to the Second Degree , the ceremonies being rendered in the most perfect manner by the acting W . M . and his officers . Two propositions were made for joining membership , and the ballot was opened for the following candidates as toininsr members , nrooosed and

seconded at the last regular meeting : Bros . Alderman H . J . Waterlow , 1 ; the Right Hon . W . Thackeray Marriott , Q . C , M . P ., Judge Advocate-General , P . G . S ., P . M . 6 ; G . I <" . Bashford ( of the Haymarket Theatre ) , 5 ( I . C ); Meyer Lutz ( of the Gaiety Theatre ) , Professor of Music , P . M . 1319 ; and Joseph Snell Wood ( general manager of "Olympia , " Kensington ) , 193 ; all of whom were unanimously accepted .

Some routine business having been transacted , lodge was closed in due form and adjourned . In consequence of the date of the next regular meeting falling on Lord Mayor's Day , it has been deemed desirable to postpone the assembly until the day following , so as to meet the convenience of many of the members , who , in their various official capacities , will be called upon to take part in the civic pageant and the subsequent banquet at the Guildhall .

HOWDEN . —St . Cuthbert ' s Lodge ( No . 630 ) . — On Thursday , the 7 th inst ., the Festival of St . John was celebrated by this North-east Yorkshire lodge . The occasion was rendered one of more importance than usual through the presence of R . W . Bro . the Hon . W . T . Orde-Powlett , D . P . G . M ., who has been recently appointed in succession to the late R . W . Bro . Dr . Bell , of Hull . There was a large attendance of brethren from the provinces of

North and East Yorkshire , West Yorkshire , and Lincolnshire . Bro . H . Green , P . P . G . R ., having opened the lodge , Bro . W . Baldwin was installed W . M . by Bro . Gardiner , P . G . A . D . C . West York , of the Aire and Calder Lodge , Goole , and then , according to ancient custom , the new W . M . invested the following brethren as officers of the

lodge for the ensuing year : Bros . Briggs , S . VV . ; Turton , J . W . ; Rev . Wm . Hutchinson , P . P . G . C , Chap . ; Anderson , P . P . G . S . W ., Treas . ; W . L . Rowntree , Sec ; Rev . NORWICH—Cabbell Lodge ( No . 807 ) . —The opening night of the session of this lodge was held at the Masonic Club , No . 23 , St . Giles-street , on Thursday , the 30 th ult ., under the gavel of the W . M ., Bro . Thos . Winter , P . P . G . Stwd . He was assisted by his officers as follows Bros . J . W . Browne , P . P . G . Stwd ., I . P . M . ; VV . N . Cooper , S . W . ; A . King , P . P . G . Stwd ., J . W . ; J . H . Gington , S . D ., and acting LG . ; W . F . Stratford .

Barnard , 93 ; and others . After the lodge had been opened , the minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed . The ballot was then taken for Mr . Robert Webster , which was

unanimous , but who was unavoidably absent . The W . M ., in an able an impressive manner , performed the ceremony of raising Bro . Holmes to the Sublime Degree of a M . M . A circular was read soliciting subscriptions to a well earned testimonial to Bro . Binckes , the able Secretary of the Boys Masonic Institution . "Hearty good wishes" were then given by the visiting brethren , and the lodge was closed in

due form . The brethren then adjourned to a recherche supper , at the conclusion of which the usual loyal , Masonic , and general toasts were given and duly acknowledged . Several excellent songs were rendered by the brethren and visitors , notably by Bro . Dunn , whose comic songs created much amusement .

PLUMSTEAD . —Pattison Lodge ( No . 913 ) . — An emergency meeting of the above lodge took place on Thursday , the 7 th inst ., at the High School for Boys , Brook Hill , it being the second " emergency " since the installation ofthe new VV . M . in July last , and , like its predecessor , was well attended . The lodge was opened by Bro . T . R . Richardson

, W . M ., and the business before it being to ballot for a candidate , Mr . J . T . Taylor , that was proceeded with at once , and proved unanimous in that gentleman s favour . He was subsequently initiated in due form . Bro . Lacey Mills was passed , and Bros . H . Coombes and H . Carlisle were raised , the whole of the ceremonies being performed by the W . M . without a hitch ; while Bro . Tyler ,

the lodge Organist , and his choir , by their fine rendering of the occasional chants , & c , added materially to the impressiveness of the work . After several propositions for joining members and initiates had been received ,, the brethren partook of refreshments , and passed an hour or two in harmony . The other brethren present were Bros . THE GREAT CITY LODGE ( No . 1426 ) . — The fourteenth installation meeting of this lodge was held at Cannon-street Hotel , on Saturday last . The attendance was not so large as is customary on these occasions ; but there was a large proportion of Installed Masters to form the Board to which the W . M . elect was in due course presented . then constituted , and Bro . Potter dul y installed into the chair of K . S ., and received the salutations of his brethren as a ruler in the Craft . Bro . James Stevens , P . M ., undertook the duties of D . C , and conducted the salutations and greetings of the brethren below the chair , and the full ceremony was completed by the delivery of the addresses by Bro . Baber , P . M . The officers appointed and invested were Bros . H . T .

The report of the Audit Committee was received , and it was agreed that consideration should be given to the same at the ensuing

meeting , with a view to suggested alterations , which would probably affect the financial prospects of the lodge for its great advantage . A motion was carried for the presentation to the retiring W . M ., Bro . R . Fendick , of a P . M . 's jewel , of the usual value ; and in the course of the evening the presentation was duly made . A candidate for initiation at the November meeting was proposed and some charitable work performed on behalf of distressed brethren and

others . The lodge was then closed , and the members and their friends adjourned to an excellent banquet , prepared for them in the Pillar Room , and personally superintended by Bro . Kilby , the manager of the Cannon-street Hotel , in his customary courteous manner . The visitors generally expressed their satisfaction with the handsome provision made for their comfort and entertainment .

Alter grace had been sung , the usual routine speeches in delivery of loyal and Masonic toasts , and responses thereto were made , all brief , but to the point ; interesting to the company present , but not offering need for general comment . The musical arrangements were under the direction of Bro . F . H . Cozens , assisted by Bros . Henry , G . T . Carter , and E . J . Bell ; and , ive need hardly say , were such as to add eclat to a peculiarly happy meeting .

ROTHESAY LODGE ( No . 1687 ) . —The first regular meeting of the season of this prosperous lodge took place on Wednesday , the 6 th inst ., at the St . James's Hall , Regent-street , W ., Bro . E . Conning , who were regularly initiated into the Order , the ceremony being ably worked by the VV . M . Bro . Green , P . M ., then installed his son , Bro . F . V . Green , to the satisfaction of the brethren , who afterwards saluted him in the proper order , the addresses being given with good effect . The

M . that a ball should be given during the winter in

connection with the Iodge , the profits of whicii should be devoted to the Benevolent Fund , vvhich proposal was cordially adopted . The VV . M . then announced to the lodge his intention to stand as Steward to the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution , when the lodge immediately voted a sum of ten guineas to be placed on his list . After the lodge was closed the brethren adjourned to an

excellent banquet provided by the Brothers Roberts . The usual loyal and Masonic toasts followed . The Worshipful Master , in proposing " The Queen and the Craft , " reminded the brethren that this was the 50 th year of her Majesty ' s reign , and he felt it a great honour to preside over the Rothesay Lodge at sach an eventful period .

After the toasts of " The M . W . Grand Master " and " The Grand Ofiicers , Present and Past , " had been duly responded to , Bro . Valerian ! , I . P . M ., in an appropriate speech , proposed "TheW . M ., " and complimented him on his undertaking one of the first duties of a W . M . by going up as Steward to one of the most deserving Charities , namely , the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution , and

asked the brethren to well second his efforts . He wished him a pleasant and successful year of office , which he had so well begun . The W . M ., in reply , expressed his thanks , and stated he intended to do all in his power to further the interests of the lodge .

The toast of "The Chanties" was given , when Bro . Mason , P . M . 1557 , R . M . B . I ., alluded to the good work this lodge had always done in the cause of Charity . The I . P . M . then interposed , and wished to give the first intimation to the W . M . of the result of the appeal to the brethren , which had produced the most handsome list this lodge had hitherto given at one banquet , namely , 61

guineas . The VVorshipfuI Master expressed his grateful thanks at the desire of the brethren to honour himself and the lodge in so generous a way . The toast of " The I . P . M . " was enthusiastically received ; the W . M ., in proposing it , referred to the great prosperity of the lodge during his year of office , and presented him with a handsome jewel which had been voted by the

lodge . Bro . Valerian ! , I . P . M ., feelingly expressed his appreciation of the gift , and said that he should always continue to work for the good of the lodge . The toasts of "The Initiates" and "The Visitors " were both well received , Bros . Cox , P . M , Co ; Maple , P . M . 657 ; and Lane , S . W . 1267 , returning thanks .

The Worshipful Master then gave the toast of "The Past Masters , " coupled with that of "The Installing Master . " Bro . F . Green , P . M ., responded , and expressed the great pleasure it had been to him to install his son in the chair , an event which did not often occur ; and offered his thanks to

the other Past Masters for allowing him to perform that ceremony . The toist of , " The Treasurer and Secretary " followed . Bro . Butlin , in responding , said how glad he was to know the lodge was in a good and sound position . Bro . Parsons , P . M ., also suitably responded , thanking the brethren for their continued appreciation of his

ser-. The Worshipful Master , in proposing the toast of " The Officers , " stated he had every confidence in their carrying out their duties efficiently . Bro . Mole , S . W ., in reply , said he would do all in his

power to justify his selection to the position of Senior Warden . Bro . Shaw , J . W ., also responded , as did several other brethren . The Tyler's toast was given , and a very pleasant evening brought to a conclusion .

BRIXTON LODGE ( No . 1949 ) . — A regular meeting of this lodge was held at the Brixton Hall , Acrelane , on Saturday , the 2 nd inst ., Bro . R . Poore , the W . Watkins were unanimously elected joining members . Bros . Inglis , Daunton , Newland , and Lovey were raised , the whole ceremony being twice gone through with great accuracy by the W . M ., who gave the traditional history . Two gentlemen were proposed for initiation at the next meeting . At the close of , a most successful meeting the brethren dined together , and with songs and recitations a pleasant evening was spent .

DRURY LANE LODGE ( No . 2127 ) . —The members of this young but immensely popular lodge , reassembled , after the summer recess , extending over four months , on Tuesday afternoon . It will be recollected that this lodge , which was consecrated in January last under brilliant auspices ( reported fully in the columns of the Freemason at that time ) , was especially designed by Bro .

Augustus Harris , of the Drury Lane Theatre , and many other distinguished brethren who were co-operating with him , for the purpose of affording more frequent opportunities for social amenity and Masonic intercourse to prominent members of the higher professions of the drama , music , literature , and art ; and the success which has

attended it finds no parallel in the records of the Craft . The roll of membershi p now includes many brilliant and distinguished names in the legislature , the municipality of London , and the various higher grades of professional life , and the lodge is destined , beyond doubt , abundantly to realise the objects and intentions of its founders . elaborately appointed temple has been fitted up within the precincts of the " National " Theatre , and here on Tuesday the winter session was inaugurated , under the most gratifying auspices . There was a very large attendance of officers and members , Grand Lodge being well represented , while the assembly wasgraced by a numerous company of distinguished visitors . In the absence of Brc . Parkinson , P . G . D ., who invariably officiates as the deputy of Bro . the Right Hon . Lord Londesborough , P . G . W ., the first VV . M . of the lodge , the chair was occupied by Bro . Thomas Fenn , Pres . of the Board of General Purposes , who was supported by Bro . Augustus Harris , S . W . ; Bro . Sir John Gorst , Q . C , M . P ., J . W . ; and other officers . The minutes ot the last regular meeting in June and of

the lodge of emergency in July having been read and confirmed , Bros . Frederick Leslie , Major Berkeley Pigott , and F . Hanbury Tracy were passed to the Second Degree , the ceremonies being rendered in the most perfect manner by the acting W . M . and his officers . Two propositions were made for joining membership , and the ballot was opened for the following candidates as toininsr members , nrooosed and

Some routine business having been transacted , lodge was closed in due form and adjourned . In consequence of the date of the next regular meeting falling on Lord Mayor's Day , it has been deemed desirable to postpone the assembly until the day following , so as to meet the convenience of many of the members , who , in their various official capacities , will be called upon to take part in the civic pageant and the subsequent banquet at the Guildhall .

HOWDEN . —St . Cuthbert ' s Lodge ( No . 630 ) . — On Thursday , the 7 th inst ., the Festival of St . John was celebrated by this North-east Yorkshire lodge . The occasion was rendered one of more importance than usual through the presence of R . W . Bro . the Hon . W . T . Orde-Powlett , D . P . G . M ., who has been recently appointed in succession to the late R . W . Bro . Dr . Bell , of Hull . There was a large attendance of brethren from the provinces of

North and East Yorkshire , West Yorkshire , and Lincolnshire . Bro . H . Green , P . P . G . R ., having opened the lodge , Bro . W . Baldwin was installed W . M . by Bro . Gardiner , P . G . A . D . C . West York , of the Aire and Calder Lodge , Goole , and then , according to ancient custom , the new W . M . invested the following brethren as officers of the

unanimous , but who was unavoidably absent . The W . M ., in an able an impressive manner , performed the ceremony of raising Bro . Holmes to the Sublime Degree of a M . M . A circular was read soliciting subscriptions to a well earned testimonial to Bro . Binckes , the able Secretary of the Boys Masonic Institution . "Hearty good wishes" were then given by the visiting brethren , and the lodge was closed in

due form . The brethren then adjourned to a recherche supper , at the conclusion of which the usual loyal , Masonic , and general toasts were given and duly acknowledged . Several excellent songs were rendered by the brethren and visitors , notably by Bro . Dunn , whose comic songs created much amusement .

PLUMSTEAD . —Pattison Lodge ( No . 913 ) . — An emergency meeting of the above lodge took place on Thursday , the 7 th inst ., at the High School for Boys , Brook Hill , it being the second " emergency " since the installation ofthe new VV . M . in July last , and , like its predecessor , was well attended . The lodge was opened by Bro . T . R . Richardson

, W . M ., and the business before it being to ballot for a candidate , Mr . J . T . Taylor , that was proceeded with at once , and proved unanimous in that gentleman s favour . He was subsequently initiated in due form . Bro . Lacey Mills was passed , and Bros . H . Coombes and H . Carlisle were raised , the whole of the ceremonies being performed by the W . M . without a hitch ; while Bro . Tyler ,

the lodge Organist , and his choir , by their fine rendering of the occasional chants , & c , added materially to the impressiveness of the work . After several propositions for joining members and initiates had been received ,, the brethren partook of refreshments , and passed an hour or two in harmony . The other brethren present were Bros .
