John would be worked as fully as possible by some of the Past Sovereigns at the next meeting in January , when he
hoped that there would be a good attendance to do honour to one of the chief exponents of the ritual , Sir Knight H . H . Shirley . The toasts of " The Treasurer " and "The Recorder " were responded to by Sir Knights Cubitt and Mason . The toast of "The Officers , " acknowledged by Sir Knigh ' . s Heard , Prower , Keyser , and Purrott , terminated the proceedings , which were eminently successful .
The Prince of VVales completed his 4 8 th year on Saturday last , and the occasion was celebrated in Windsor and London in the usual manner , the royal tradesmen dining together and thc West End clubs and streets being brilliantly illuminated .
We regret to announce the death on Friday , the Sth inst ., of Lady Plunket , wife of Bro . Lord Plunket , Archbishop of Dublin and Grand Chaplain of Ireland . The funeral took place in Mount Jerome Cemetery , Dublin , on 'Tuesday , and vvas numerously attended by the relatives of the deceased lady .

excellent quality . Sir Knight Lake during his connection with the conclave had rendered himself exceedingly popular vvith all the members , and he ( the speaker ) believed that the M . P . S . vvith the name of Sir Knight Dr . Lott , vvho acknowledged the toast in a speech of some humour . " The Health , of , the Past Sovereigns" came next , and vvas duly replied to b y the I . P . S ., Sir Knight H . J . Lardner , vvho , in the course of his speech , called tlie attention of the members to the fact that the Degrees of K . H . S . and St . John would be worked as fully as possible by some of the Past Sovereigns at the next meeting in January , when he
hoped that there would be a good attendance to do honour to one of the chief exponents of the ritual , Sir Knight H . H . Shirley . The toasts of " The Treasurer " and "The Recorder " were responded to by Sir Knights Cubitt and Mason . The toast of "The Officers , " acknowledged by Sir Knigh ' . s Heard , Prower , Keyser , and Purrott , terminated the proceedings , which were eminently successful .
The Prince of VVales completed his 4 8 th year on Saturday last , and the occasion was celebrated in Windsor and London in the usual manner , the royal tradesmen dining together and thc West End clubs and streets being brilliantly illuminated .
We regret to announce the death on Friday , the Sth inst ., of Lady Plunket , wife of Bro . Lord Plunket , Archbishop of Dublin and Grand Chaplain of Ireland . The funeral took place in Mount Jerome Cemetery , Dublin , on 'Tuesday , and vvas numerously attended by the relatives of the deceased lady .
