The Prince and Princess of Wales , vvith their son , Prince George , and their daughters , the Princesses Victoria and Aland , reached Brindisi , after a very rough passage from the Piraeus , on Tuesday . After a few hours rest , the Royal party left by train for Turin , vvhich was safely reached on Wednesday evening , and where , at the invitation of the Duke of Aoste , they purposed making a stay of 24 hours .

A most enjoyable programme was provided , the musical part being rendered by the South Shields Masonic Glee Party , and Air . Spurr , the well-known reciter , & c , also added to
the pleasure of the evening . The result vvill be a large addition to the Masonic Ward Fund , for through the liberality of a few well-known members of the Craft all the expenses vvere met by them , ancl the total income vvill go direct to the Masonic Ward Fund . The Vestry of St . Giles , Camberwell , at their meeting on Wednesday night , agreed to contribute the sum of _ £ 6 ooo towards the purchase of Brockwell Park as a public park for South London , subject to Parliamentary powers being obtained for this purpose . It vvas reported that the park
