A considerable amount of damage appears to have been caused to life and property by the gale which raged over the greater part of the country during last Sunday night . unroofed , while more than disaster is reported along our coasts . The Manchester Ship Canal traffic was for the time disorganised . At Holywell , in Flintshire , the roof ot the English Presbyterian Chapel was blown off and the building almost entirely wrecked .
