ACCIDENT TO A C ARDIFF DOCTOR . —What might have been a serious accident crcuircd en Tuesday morning last on Canton Bridge , Cardiff . The road is being iff aired at the spot , and the steam roller in use for the purpose caused a horse attached to a lorry toshy on the pathway , where Bro . Dr . De Vere Hunt was engaged in conversation with Mr . Stanaway . The lattergentleman was struck by the shaft , and was shot against the doctor , both gentlemen falling to the ground . Mr . Stanaway was cut about the hands , krees , and left shoulder , and Dr . Hunt was bruised about the ribs . The driver of the vehicle was Thomas John , 11 , Crwys-place , whose employers are a firm of furniture dealers . Mr . Stanaway ' s injuries were attended to by Dr . Hunt .
