He was successively P . G . Stwd ., Asst . G . Purst ., and P . G . Purst . of Middx . So gratified were the members of his Iodge at his appointments that they voted him his provincial clothing from the lodge funds . He was exalted into Royal Arch Masonry in Mount Lebanon Chapter , No , 73 , and continued a member until he joined the Lebanon Chapter , No . 1326 , in which he served the several offices , and was ultimately installed into the chair of Z . While

The deceased was in his 72 nd year .

BRO . T . C W . BUSH . Among the brethren whose loss will be severely felt is the late Bro . Thomas William Casburn Bush , to whose death on the 7 th inst ., we briefly referred on our last week ' s issue . Bro . Bush was on the eve of completing his 46 th year , and the illness which has terminated fatally , and which had afflicted him for some eighteen months , was borne with the fortitude which might have been expected

from a man who had endeavoured during his short career to bear himself with dignified composure in all his relations of life . Hewas initiated in the Lodge of Tranquility , No . 185 , London , on the iSth October , 1875 , and became its W . Master in 1882 . Bros . Russell and Reed will again act as joint honorary Secretaries , and the Duke of Connaught , P . G . M ., has granted his dispensation for the brethren to wear Masonic clothing . HOLLOWAY ' S PILLS AND OINTMENT . —Winter Remedies . —Are the readiest remedies for the diseases now so rife and fatal . The

adverse influences of the severe frosts , dense fogs , and piercing winds have produced a terrible increase in the number and severity of " chett Uiseaiei" of all kinds , especially bronchitis and inflammation of the lungs . Loss of time in the treatment of these and other similar diseases often means death . The Ointment should be briskly rubbed into the chest and between the shoulders , according to thc printed directions , which , combined with the internal action of the Pills , will lower the temperature of the blood , reduce the frequency of thc pulse and respiration , and check the advance of the malady In good time , —[ ADVT . 1
