PAST GRAND CHAPLAINS . Bro . the Hon . and Very Rev . tho Dean of IIEIIEI'OBD is the youngest brother of our respected Bro . tho Right Hon . Lord Leigh , who , sinco 1852 , has presided over the Craft in Warwickshire . He was initiated in the Shakespeare Lodge , No . 284 , Warwick , on tho 28 th September , 1805 , and installed W . JI . in 1869 , having two years previously beon appointed Prov . G . Chaplain of Warwickshire . In 1890 , ho joined the Palladian Lodge , No . 120 , Hereford , and at tho annual meeting of thc Provincial Grand Lodge of Herefordshire in the Cathedral

Library on the Sth November , 1897 , was appointed Prov . Grand Chaplain . Onr Herefordshire brethren had determined to avail themselves of tho opportunity afforded by their annual gathering on that day to celebrate her Majest y ' s Diamond Jubileo by attending Divine service in the Cathedral when the proceedings of their Prov . Grand Lodgo wore concluded , and ou tho occasion the Very Rev . brother preached a most eloquent sermon , which was published in our issue of tho following 20 th November .

rr = ZT Bro . the Rev . RICIIARII PEEK , M . A , was initiated in tho Adair Lodge , No . 930 , Aldeburgh , in the Province of Suffolk , on the 2 nd January , 1885 , and in 1888 was elected and installed W . Master , having in the interim joined tho Lodgo of Fidelity , No . 555 , Frnmlingham , and served as its W . M . in 1887 . These services wero rewarded with tho appointment of Prov . G . Chaplain of Suffolk . But his experiences have not been confined to this Province , lie has been at

different times a inenibor of lhe Isaac Newton University Lodge , No . 8 o 9 , Cambridge ; the lloyal Alfred Lodge , No . 877 , Jersey , and of tho Lodges of St . George , and St . John the Baptist , both meeting iu ihe city of Exeter , and numbered respectively 112 and 39 , in addition to which hc is a Lifo Member of the Correspondence . Circle of lhe Lodge Quator Coronali , No . 2070 , while in

1892-93 he served as l ' rov . G . Chaplain of Jersey . In Royal Arch Masonry , to which ho was exalted in tho lloyal Sussex Chapte ' rof Perfect Friendship , No . 370 , Ipswich , ho helped to found thi ; Henniker Chapter , No . 555 , Frnmlingham , in 1887 , and was installed its first JI . E . Z , and \ i a Past Prov . G . Scribe N . of Suffolk . Ho . is also one of the present G . Chaplains of the . Mark G . Lodge , Fast G . Chaplain in tho R . and S . Masters and Allied Degrees , and Past Prov . G .
