Purple for—if we may lie allowed to use tho expression—the Imperial Purple of United Grand Lodgo . Ho was exulted a Royal Arch Mason during his residence iu Cheshire , in tho Chapter of Unity , No . V . 21 , Crowe , but in the Arch , as in (' raft Masony , his connection wilh it as un active member ceased during tho year of his sojourn in France .
