G . Chaplain , and now thai hc has Ibis I ' ast Rank conferred upon him is in tbo foriunnte position of being able to exchange the Provincial
Purple for—if we may lie allowed to use tho expression—the Imperial Purple of United Grand Lodgo . Ho was exulted a Royal Arch Mason during his residence iu Cheshire , in tho Chapter of Unity , No . V . 21 , Crowe , but in the Arch , as in (' raft Masony , his connection wilh it as un active member ceased during tho year of his sojourn in France . However , on the lUth November , 1 K 91 , he joined
the St . George ' s Chapter , No . 1170 , was installed in the chair of M . E . / . on tho 22 > i < l July , 181 ) 7 , was appointed a few days later l ' rov . ( 1 . Scribe N .
