Masonic Notes .

We have been favoured with two letters relating to the list of Stewards at the recent Jubilee Festival of the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution , in which we are requested to make certain slight corrections . In

the one we are informed that Bro . C . b . Matier represented the Grafton Lodge , No . 2347 , as well as the Shadwell Clerke Lodge , No . 1910 ; in the other , that Bro . F . E . Rcmfry , instead of being a Steward Unattached for Cornwall represented the Duke of Cornwall Lodge , No . 1529 , St . Columb , in that Province .

The final meeting of the Board of Stewards for the recent Jubilee Festival of the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution was held at Freemasons' Hall on Tuesday . There was a full attendance of brethren , and the chair was occupied by Bro . J . A . Farnlield , P . A . G .

D . of C , tUc Tiea-sureY . The accounts were submitted , and , after due examination , passed and ordered to be paid ; and the Board having voted an honorarium to the Secretary and his two clerks for their additional labours , and having directed that certain amounts

should be paid to the Institution in the names of certain brethren who had rendered special service in connection with the Jubilee , unanimously resolved that the balance of the surplus should be paid over to the Charity . A vote of thanks was passed to the Chairman , and the Board dissolved .

We understand , the Secretary ol the Studholme Lodge , No . 1591 , has received a gracious reply to the address of condolence and sympathy with their Royal Highnesses the Prince and Princess of Wales , on the

death of H . R . H . the Duke of Clarence and Avondale , whose formal installation in the chair of that lodge had been fixed for the 15 th January last , the day following his lamented death .

At the kind invitation of Bro . Sir Augustus G . Harris , the whole of the boys of our Schools at Wocd Green had their annual visit to the pantomime on Monday morning last . The happy faces of the boys

was not the least pleasing feature of a crowded house , and the kindness of Bro . Sir Augustus Harris , who by the way is a member of the Board of Management , is much appreciated by them .
