W ., proposed that of " The Provincial Grand Master , and the rest of the Provincial Grand Officers , Present and Past , " in the course of which he gave expression to the wide-spread satisfaction felt by the brethren
throughout the province generally , and by those in Northhampton particularly , at the appointment of the Earl of Dartmouth as P . G . M ., and was quite convinced that he would become one of the most popular of the Provincial Grand Masters of our native land . In proposing the toast of " The Worshipful Master , " Bro . A . Willcock said he was sure the brethren were all
pleased to see the chair occupied by one who had already done good work in the various offices which he had held in the lodge . He had been in no hurry to reach the position he held that right . He believed that he placed the interests of St . Peter ' s first and foremost , and they had had an instance of that that evening in the appointment of his officers . He knew Bro . Berry 30 years ago , when a boy at School ,
and he was now , as a man , pleased to acknowledge him once more as Master . The W . M ., in reply , said that he had felt anything but comfortable while Bro . Willcock—his senior in Masonry , but junior in age—had been speaking , but , the ordeal pissed , he thanked him for the excellent opinion he had formed of him ; he also thanked the brethren for the cordial
way in which they had welcomed him in the chairof St . Peter ' s Lodge . It had been his ambition to occupy that position , and he was proud of being the Master of a lodge now fm years old , and which had been ruled by so many able Past Masters , amongst whom he might mention the celebrated Dr . Oliver , the author of many excellent books on Masonry . He would do his level best to keep up the
prestige of the lodge , and hoped the brethren would give him plenty of work . He was grateful for past kindness and consideration , and felt assured that his officers would faithfully support him , without which all his efforts would be vain . " 'The Health of the Installing Master" was cordially given by Bro . VV . Cooke , P . M ., P . G . R ., and suitably
responded to . 'Ihe toasts of " 'The Visitors , " "The Past Masters , " "The Masonic Charities , " and "The Officers" were duly honojred . 'The musical programme , which was an excellent one , was ably rendered by Bros . Molineaux , Dean , Howell , W . Strttt , and Dobbs .
The marriage of Bro . the lion . R . A . llandcock , younger son of the late Lord Castlemiine , with Ethel Violet , only daughter of Colonel Bainbriilge , R . A ., of the Royal Arsenal , was solemnised in Holy Trinity Church , Woolwich , on Tuesday afternoon , the band of the Royal Artillery being present on the occasion . On the same day in St . The gift was acknowledged in appropriate terms . The report of the Audit Committee , including the balancesheet , was then presented by Bro . R . A . Willcock , P . M ., and accepted by the brethren . The W . M . gave notice of his intention to propose at the next meeting a candidate for

manageress . The toasts of " Queen " and " The M . W . G . M . " having been loyally and heartily honoured , Bro . Coleman , S .

A ., of the Royal Arsenal , was solemnised in Holy Trinity Church , Woolwich , on Tuesday afternoon , the band of the Royal Artillery being present on the occasion . On the same day in St .
