Mould , S . W ., was unanimously elected W . M . for the ensuing year , and Bro . Gee was re-elected Treasurer . It was unanimously decided that in recognition of Bro . Kenneday ' s services as acting Master during the past year the sum of five guineas should be voted him for the purpose of qualifying him as a Life Subscriber for one of the Charities , and that brother returned thanks . A social gathering , during which the usual loyal , Grand , and provincial toasts were honoured , closed the proceedings .

YORK — Eboracum Lodge ( No . 1611 ) . —The regular monthly meeting of this lodge took place on the Sth inst ., at the Eboracum Masonic Hall , St . Saviourgate . There was a large muster of the brethren , and the appearance of the Hall was improved by the addition of new seats in the dais of massive mahogany , upholstered in crimson plush . This being the second Tuesday in the month , the ceremony of passing was rehearsed in a most able manner by Ilro . Rowland , who also gave the charge . The lodge called off and on , after which the 4 th Section of the Second Lecture was admirably worked . Bro . Rowland gave the use of the orders perfectly , and drew from the brethren expressions of pleasure . The lodge resumed to the Third Degree , and closed down . A vote of thanks was proposed to Bro . Rowland for the very able renderineof

the 4 th Section of the Second Lecture , and ordered to be entered on the minutes of the lodge . This was done after several very able speeches of the brethren on the progress of the lodge .
