Clarke , who , in expressing his gratification at attending the lodge and rendering any assistance he was able to give , thanked the brethren for the manner in which they had received the toast . In conclusion he proposed "The Charities , " and after reviewing

the present position of each , and the urgent need of the personal endeavours of every good and true Mason , Bro . Clarke called upon the members to rally round their VV . M . in support of the R .
