Sir Knight Hill Drury thanked the brethren for the kind way in vvhich they always received him , and for the appreciation they had manifested of his services . He was always pleased to assist in the work of the preceptory . He had had the honour of installing more fratres into the Order than any other preceptor in the province , and he hoped he might still install many more . Other toasts followed , and a most enjoyable evening vvas spent .

About 40 sat dosvn , and the usual loyal and Masonic toasts svere duly honoured , svhile several of the brethren enlivened the

proceedings svith songs . In giving the toast of "The Nesvly-installed Master , " Bro . s apt . C . D . Wise said it had afforded him much pleasure to install Bro . Dickie , svho had taken so much interest in establishing the lodge at Kirkee . He congratulated the R . W . M . and brethren on the progress the lodge had made since it had been transferred from Satara , less than a

year ago , at svhich time it consisted of only three or four members , and had it not been transferred svould probably have been placed in abeyance . Since , however , it commenced svorking at Kirkee no less than 28 members have joined the lodge . There had been tsvo initiations , tsvo passings , and one raising , and there svere more candidates coming forsvard , a result svhich he thought svas highly

gratifying , establishing as it did , beyond question , the need for a lodge at Kirkee . In concluding , Bro . Wise said that he considered the state of Lodge Level reflected the greatest credit on all concerned , and he hoped before long to see it at the head of the lodges on that side of India , a position

he felt sure the R . W . M . and brethren svould strive to attain for it . Bro . Dickie , in responding to the toast , said that for 15 years he and other well-known brethren had tried again and again to establish a Iodge at Kirkee , and , now they had succeeded , nothing gave him greater pleasure than being elected Master of the lodge , and no effort would

Sir Knight Hill Drury thanked the brethren for the kind way in vvhich they always received him , and for the appreciation they had manifested of his services . Other toasts followed , and a most enjoyable evening vvas spent .

About 40 sat dosvn , and the usual loyal and Masonic toasts svere duly honoured , svhile several of the brethren enlivened the

proceedings svith songs . In giving the toast of "The Nesvly-installed Master , " Bro . s apt . C . D . Wise said it had afforded him much pleasure to install Bro . Dickie , svho had taken so much interest in establishing the lodge at Kirkee . He congratulated the R . W . M . and brethren on the progress the lodge had made since it had been transferred from Satara , less than a

year ago , at svhich time it consisted of only three or four members , and had it not been transferred svould probably have been placed in abeyance . Since , however , it commenced svorking at Kirkee no less than 28 members have joined the lodge . There had been tsvo initiations , tsvo passings , and one raising , and there svere more candidates coming forsvard , a result svhich he thought svas highly

gratifying , establishing as it did , beyond question , the need for a lodge at Kirkee . In concluding , Bro . Wise said that he considered the state of Lodge Level reflected the greatest credit on all concerned , and he hoped before long to see it at the head of the lodges on that side of India , a position

he felt sure the R . W . M . and brethren svould strive to attain for it . Bro . Dickie , in responding to the toast , said that for 15 years he and other well-known brethren had tried again and again to establish a Iodge at Kirkee , and , now they had succeeded , nothing gave him greater pleasure than being elected Master of the lodge , and no effort would
