The Oueen has forsvarded , through Sir Henry Ponsonby , a donation of £ 20 to the Irish Distressed Ladies' Fund , of svhich her Majesty is the Patron . The Duke and Duchess of Connaught and Prince Henry of Battenberg visited the Lyceum Theatre on Saturday

We learn from the Bishop of New AVestminster , British Columbia , that the Masonic Hall , vvhich was recently erected at a cost of £ 3 600 , together svith the furniture and regalia , has been totally destroyed by fire .
