The installation meeting of the above lodge was held on Friday , the 14 th instant , in the Masonic Hall , Harrogate , when there was the largest gathering that has ever been assembled in the small but beautiful lodge . Eng . ; Jno . Dyson , P . P . G . D . C . R . J . Smith , 1042 ; W . J . Kaye , 1522 ; Tom Child , and several other visitors . Bro . A . J . Spinks ,, S . W ., was duly installed in the chair of King Solomon . The

M ., and Coxon , P . M ., the traditional history being given by Bro . Blinkhorn , P . M . The W . M . then resumed the chair , and passed B ; os . Theobald and Camp to the Second Degree , tbe ierture on the tracing board being given by Bro . Loomes , P . M . ; the wish of the W . M . that as many P . Ms , as possible should be engaged in the work of the lodge being carried out . A candidate was proposed for initiation , and the lodge was closed .

The brethren then sat down to an excellent and well-served repast , which did credit to the house , after which a curtailed toast list was proceeded with . For the toast of " The Health of the Visitors , " which was proposed in a kindly manner by the W . M ., and cordially drunk by the brethren , Bros . R . VV . Nicole , P . M ., S . Butler , and F . R . Pyne replied . The proceedings were enlivened by songs from Bros . Roberts , Camp , Attwater , Goring . Krische , and Bury , "Auld Lang Syne " bringing a very enjoyable gathering to an end .

Doric Lodge , No . 2359-The regular meeting of this lodge was held at the Masonic Hall , Chorlton-cum-Hardy , on Friday , the 14 th inst . Bro . J oseph Ward , W .
