The usual loyal and Masonic toasts were duly honoured , that of " The W . M . of the Lodge " being enthusiastically

received . A most enjoyable evening was spent , the various speeches being interspersed by a pleasing selection of vocal music , ably sustained by Miss Minnie Freeman , Mss Edith Hands , Bros . W . N . Roe , G . Cole , and H . Edwards , the duties of accompanist being efficiently carried out by Bro . W . N . Roe , P . P . G . Org .

KIRKBURTON . —Beaumont Lodge ( No . 2035 ) —The annual meeting for the installation ot W . M . of this lodge was held at the Masonic Rooms , George Inn , on Saturday , the 15 th irst . The lodge was opened by Bro . Cocking , W . M ., and his Officers , when Mr . John Dyson Wigg . ltsworth , who had been ballotted for at the previous meeting , was initiated into Ihe mysteries of Freemasonry by Bro . L . B . Brierley , P . M ., P . G . D . of West Yorkshire .

Bro . Charles Hargreaves , S . W ., was installed as W . M . for the ensuing year . The ceremony was performed by Bro . Cocking , I . P . M ., in a most impressive manner . The W . consecration , was again elected to that position . After the transaction of other business , the lodge was closed . There were a good number of visiting brethren present from Lodges 275 , 290 , 521 , 1645 , 17 * 83 , and others . The brethren afterwards partook of a capital banquet in

the lodge rooms , when the usual loyal and Masonic toasts were given , interspersed with music , and a most enjoyable evening was spent . A composition by Bro . Hopkinson , P . M . 1619 , was recited during the evening : " How I was made a Freemason . "

HAMPTON COURT . — Cama Lodge ( No . 2105 ) . —A meeting was held on Saturday , the 15 th inst ., at the Mitre Hotel , when there were present Bros . John Read , P . M ., P . P . G . Org ., W . M . ; H . H . Shirley , P . M ., as S . W . ; W . R . Palmer , P . M ., Treas . j T . Poore , P . M . 720 , Secj S . Hague , P . M ., S . D . j A . P . Quicke , J . D . j I . L . Caron , D . C . j H . Gilbert , Tyler j Gillham , Peck ,

Postans , Nornngton , and Manlove . The visitors were Bros . H . H . Room , P . M ., Prov . G . Sec . j C . B . Cooper , W . M . 449 J B . Lyons , P . M . 1329 j and H . D . Riddle , Phoenix Lodge . The lodge was opened in ample form , and the minutes of the regular meeting in August and the emergency in September were read for confirmation . A satisfactory report

was received from the Audit Committee . A ballot was taken for Bro . W . H . Postans as a joining member , which proved to be in his favour . A ballot was also taken for Mr . C . W . Cole for initiation , which also proved favourable . Bro . Peck was raised to the M . M . Degree by the W . M ., alter which Mr . C Wi Cole was initiated . A letter was read from the J . W . resigning his office and membership ,

which was accepted with much regret . The W . Master appointed Bro . S . Hague , M . D ., S . D ., as J . W . The next business on the agenda was the installaiion of the W . M . elect . Bro . N . D . Fracis , P . M . j but , much to the regret of all present , a letter was read from Bro . Fracis stating , owing to the fact that he had suddenly been called away on pressing business to Bombay , it would be impossible for

him to attend that meeting . This being the case , the W . Master had no alternative but to retain his office until the W . M . elect could be present . The lodge was subsequently closed , and the brethren adjourned to banquet , served in Bro . Sadler ' s usual good style .

The usual loyal and Masonic toasts were given , including "The Provincial Grand Officeis for Middlesex , " which was responded to in very appropriate terms by Bro . H . H . Room , P . M ., P . G Sec , who expressed his satisfaction at being present on that occasion , and still lurther pleasure at being so cordially and warmly welcomed by all the members of the lodge .

The other usual toasts followed , and were responded to . Recitations from Bros . Poore and Peck and song from Bro . Postans considerably added to the enjoyment of a very o'easant evening , which was brought to a close at an early hour .

The lodge was opened in due form , and the minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed . The lodge was opened in the Second Degree . After the usual preliminaries , the ceremonies of initiation and pas > ing were rehearsed , Bros . Woodman and Battley being candidates respectively . In accordance with notice of motion , the lodge will not meet on the 34 th and 31 st instant . Bro . Francis wars elected W . M . for Monday , the 7 th January , the officers to be in rotation . After " Hearty good wishes , " the lodge was closed .

Vernon Smith on account of the severe illness he is now suffering , and hoping that he would sjon be restored to health . M . for the next meeting , and the officers were appointed in rotation . It was proposed , seconded , and carried , that the lodge be adjourned until Tuesday , January Sth . KIRKBURTON . —Beaumont Lodge ( No . 2035 ) —The annual meeting for the installation ot W . M . of this lodge was held at the Masonic Rooms , George Inn , on Saturday , the 15 th irst . The lodge was opened by Bro . Cocking , W . M ., and his Officers , when Mr . John Dyson Wigg . ltsworth , who had been ballotted for at the previous meeting , was initiated into Ihe mysteries of Freemasonry by Bro . L . B . Brierley , P . M ., P . G . D . of West Yorkshire .

Bro . Charles Hargreaves , S . W ., was installed as W . M . for the ensuing year . The ceremony was performed by Bro . Cocking , I . P . M ., in a most impressive manner . The W . consecration , was again elected to that position . After the transaction of other business , the lodge was closed . There were a good number of visiting brethren present from Lodges 275 , 290 , 521 , 1645 , 17 * 83 , and others . The brethren afterwards partook of a capital banquet in

the lodge rooms , when the usual loyal and Masonic toasts were given , interspersed with music , and a most enjoyable evening was spent . A composition by Bro . Hopkinson , P . M . 1619 , was recited during the evening : " How I was made a Freemason . "

HAMPTON COURT . — Cama Lodge ( No . 2105 ) . —A meeting was held on Saturday , the 15 th inst ., at the Mitre Hotel , when there were present Bros . John Read , P . M ., P . P . G . Org ., W . The lodge was opened in ample form , and the minutes of the regular meeting in August and the emergency in September were read for confirmation . A satisfactory report

was received from the Audit Committee . A ballot was taken for Bro . W . H . Postans as a joining member , which proved to be in his favour . A ballot was also taken for Mr . C . W . Cole for initiation , which also proved favourable . Bro . Peck was raised to the M . M . Degree by the W . M ., alter which Mr . C Wi Cole was initiated . A letter was read from the J . W . resigning his office and membership ,

which was accepted with much regret . The W . Master appointed Bro . S . Hague , M . D ., S . D ., as J . W . The next business on the agenda was the installaiion of the W . M . elect . Bro . N . D . Fracis , P . M . j but , much to the regret of all present , a letter was read from Bro . Fracis stating , owing to the fact that he had suddenly been called away on pressing business to Bombay , it would be impossible for

him to attend that meeting . This being the case , the W . Master had no alternative but to retain his office until the W . M . elect could be present . The lodge was subsequently closed , and the brethren adjourned to banquet , served in Bro . Sadler ' s usual good style .

The usual loyal and Masonic toasts were given , including "The Provincial Grand Officeis for Middlesex , " which was responded to in very appropriate terms by Bro . H . H . Room , P . M ., P . G Sec , who expressed his satisfaction at being present on that occasion , and still lurther pleasure at being so cordially and warmly welcomed by all the members of the lodge .
