G EORGE WELLS , who was initiated in the Panmure Lodge , No . 720 , in 1862 , joined the St . Paul ' s Lodge , No . 194 , and subsequently the Oak Lodge , No . 190 , of which he was Senior Warden at the time of his death , and was also exalted in the Royal Arch Chapter , United Pilgrims , No . 507 , to which he subscribed for nine years . He was a Subscribing Member of the Order over 20 years , and a Life Governor ot all the Masonic Charities , to whose funds he was a frequent contributor . HELP FOR THE WORTHY POOR AND DESERVING- UNEMPLOYED . FIELD LANE REFUGES AND JAGGED SCHOOLS . THE COMMITTEE of this old-established Charity for relieving the really deserving Poor , are compelled to make a very urgent appeal for Funds for the continuance of their work . The work is carried on amongst the most destitute of the poor , both old and young . The Institution possesses no reserve fund to fall back upon . About £ 1200 is required for the support of the Institution to the close of the present year . Upwards of 200 persons are maintained weekly . HELP FOR THE WORTHY POOR AND DESERVING- UNEMPLOYED . FIELD LANE REFUGES AND JAGGED SCHOOLS . THE COMMITTEE of this old-established Charity for relieving the really deserving Poor , are compelled to make a very urgent appeal for Funds for the continuance of their work . The work is carried on amongst the most destitute of the poor , both old and young . The Institution possesses no reserve fund to fall back upon . About £ 1200 is required for the support of the Institution to the close of the present year . Upwards of 200 persons are maintained weekly .
