THE ANNUAL MEETING cf the Royal Cambridge Asylum for Soldiers' Widows , was held on Satuiday last , under the presidency of the Duke of Cambridge . The institution , which is situated at Kingston-on-Thames , provides a home for the widows of non-commissioned officers and privates of the British Army of not less than 50 years of age . There are at present 6 9 widows in residence at the Asylum .
PRINCESS CHRISTIAN distributed the medals and certificates won by members of the local St . John's Ambulance classes at the Albert Institute , Windsor , on Saturday last . THE ANNUAL MEETING cf the Royal Cambridge Asylum for Soldiers' Widows , was held on Satuiday last , under the presidency of the Duke of Cambridge . The institution , which is situated at Kingston-on-Thames , provides a home for the widows of non-commissioned officers and privates of the British Army of not less than 50 years of age . There are at present 6 9 widows in residence at the Asylum .
