Liskeard was the scene ot great rejoicing on Tuesday , when the first stone of the Liskeard Cottage Hospital was laid with full Masonic ceremonial by Bro . the Earl of Mount Edgcumbe , Dep . Grand Master of England , and Prov . Grand Master of Cornwall . Thc town , which was filled with visitors from the country side , all anxious to witness so unusual a spectacle , had
evidently made up its mind to thoroughly enjoy itself Business was almost entirely suspended , and thestreels and public buildings were decorated with triumphal arches , and flags , banners , and Moral devices of every kind .
