Grand Chapter and the Hertfordshire Masonic Committee , the remaining business was transacted , and the chapter closed . The companions afterwards dined together , and honoured the usual toast list , a

very hearty reception being accorded to the toasts of "The M . E . Z . " and '' The l . P . Z . " Ccmp . Cranston , in proposing the latter , toak the opportunity of presenting to Comp . Woodrow the jewel which had previously been voted him by the chapter in recognition of his services as First Principal during the past year , and as a mark of the respect and esteem in which he is held by the members .

deserved tribute to Comp . Stewart for the excellent and efficient manner in which the installation ceremony had been carried out , and for the great interest he had always taken in the working and welfare of the chapter . Comp . Stewart , in returning thanks , said it always gave him very great pleasure to do all he possibly could for the interest of the chapter .
