H . Walls , E . C ; A . Williams , 1 st Captain ; Dr . Sanders , 2 nd Captain ; R . Berridge , Expert ; F . Driver , actingC . of the L . ; Gravely , Standard Bearer ; J . H . Dodson , Herald ;

The minutes of the previous convocation having been read and confirmed ,

the ballot was taken upon behalf of Comps . Stohwasser , H . J . Lardner , and T . Adams , and it proving to be unanimous they were duly installed as Knights of the Hlustrous Order by the E . C Several communications having been read the encampment was closed and the Sir Knights adjourned to the banquet . Upon the removal of the cloth the customary toasts were duly honoured , Sir Kt . Binckes , responded on behalf

of " The Grand Officers " and he immediately afterwards proposed "The Health of the E . C . " This toast having been honoured and responded to , "The Health of the Installees " followed . This pledge was respectively acknowledged by Sir Kts . Stohwasser , Lardner , and Adams . In proposing the toast of "The Visitors " the E . C . expressed the satisfaction it had afforded him in being in a position to extend

the hospitality of the Mount Calvary Encampment to their three distinguised visitors . This pledge having been warmly received , Sir Kt . Broadley in reply stated that it had given him a great deal of gratification in being present that evening , more especiall y as it had given him an opportunity of witnessing the installation ceremony . Coming as he did from one of the ancient strongholds of Christian Masonry , it was pleasing to see that one of the

oldest encampments in England was progressing so well . The concluding portion of his excellent speech was devoted to an exposition of the rise and progress of Christian Masonry since the latter part of the iSth century . Sir Kts . Crockford and Lott having also replied the toast of "The Past E . C . ' s" was enthusiastically drunk , and Sir Kts . Binckes , Paas , Dewar , Baxter , and Roebuck having responded , "The Health of the Officers , " coupled with the name of Sir Kt . Williams , 1 st Captain , brought the proceedings to a conclusion .

the ballot was taken upon behalf of Comps . Stohwasser , H . J . Lardner , and T . Adams , and it proving to be unanimous they were duly installed as Knights of the Hlustrous Order by the E . C Several communications having been read the encampment was closed and the Sir Knights adjourned to the banquet . Upon the removal of the cloth the customary toasts were duly honoured , Sir Kt . Binckes , responded on behalf

of " The Grand Officers " and he immediately afterwards proposed "The Health of the E . C . " This toast having been honoured and responded to , "The Health of the Installees " followed . This pledge was respectively acknowledged by Sir Kts . Stohwasser , Lardner , and Adams . In proposing the toast of "The Visitors " the E . C . expressed the satisfaction it had afforded him in being in a position to extend

the hospitality of the Mount Calvary Encampment to their three distinguised visitors . This pledge having been warmly received , Sir Kt . Broadley in reply stated that it had given him a great deal of gratification in being present that evening , more especiall y as it had given him an opportunity of witnessing the installation ceremony . Coming as he did from one of the ancient strongholds of Christian Masonry , it was pleasing to see that one of the

oldest encampments in England was progressing so well . The concluding portion of his excellent speech was devoted to an exposition of the rise and progress of Christian Masonry since the latter part of the iSth century . Sir Kts . Crockford and Lott having also replied the toast of "The Past E . C . ' s" was enthusiastically drunk , and Sir Kts . Binckes , Paas , Dewar , Baxter , and Roebuck having responded , "The Health of the Officers , " coupled with the name of Sir Kt . Williams , 1 st Captain , brought the proceedings to a conclusion .
