We have received several copies of this very interesting serial , which seems to have gained the favour of our Masonic brethren . It is well edited , and contains numerous instructive papers on the

subject of Freemasonry , from which we learn that the number of lodges is steadily increasing , the present number in the country being 1417 . — Hornet , Sept . 27 th .

" The articles are all excellent , and we feel assured that those of our readers who may peruse the magazine , will join in supporting our high opinion of it . "—Kelso Chronicle , Aug . 22 nd . " We can safely predict that its advent will be hailed with delight wherever Freemasonry is
