A communication was read from the widow of the late Comp . Cruttendoni thanking the chapter for the letter of condolence sent her by Scribe E . The Scribe E . stated that he

had received a letter from Scribe E . of the North London Chapter of Improvement , No . 1471 , to the effect that a vote of condolence had been proposed and carried unanimously to Mrs . Cruttendon , and to assure the widow of the sympathy of the members of the chapter at the untimely removal of so worthy and highly esteemed a compinion . The M . E . Z . rose for the third and fourth times . Comp .
